RAISED GARDEN BEDS

Benehorti Garden kits feature an innovative modular design, allowing you to assemble various configurations for your raised garden bed. For example, the 9-in-1 Kit offers 9 possible configurations, while the 6-in-1 Kit allows you to create 6 different garden bed shapes using corner and side panels. With these kits, you can let your creativity shine and build garden beds of different sizes and layouts. Enjoy the convenience and flexibility of Benehorti Garden kits for your gardening needs!

Benehorti offers raised garden beds in two heights: 17" and 32". The 17" height is perfect for healthy root growth, especially in areas with poor soil quality. It allows deeper roots for better plant development, ideal for root vegetables like carrots. Additionally, the 17" height means less bending over, which is easier on your back.

For a top-notch gardening experience, we introduced the 32" extra tall series, also known as stand-up gardening beds. With these beds, you can enjoy hours of gardening without straining your back.

NO. Benehorti raised garden beds are designed without a bottom. This allows for proper drainage, preventing root rot by allowing excess water to escape. It also promotes a healthy ecosystem as worms can enter the bed and aid in soil aeration and nutrient distribution. With bottomless beds, plant roots can easily access the nutrients in the ground, supporting optimal growth and plant health.

Benehorti metal raised beds are made from a Zinc, Magnesium, and Aluminum coated steel. This combination of materials, known as VZ 2.0, offers exceptional performance and corrosion resistance under various environmental conditions. The garden beds are durable and long-lasting, providing a reliable solution for your gardening needs.

The Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy coating ensures that the beds remain intact without decomposing, even in high-acidity conditions. Additionally, the neutral soil used for growing crops will not affect the coating. Importantly, both the metal and the coating are safe and do not release any harmful substances into the soil.

With Benehorti's metal raised beds, you can enjoy the benefits of a sturdy and dependable gardening solution for your plants to thrive.

Benehorti's Aluzinc Steel Raised Beds offer several advantages compared to other materials:

  1. Extreme Corrosion Resistance: Aluzinc is highly resistant to corrosion and rust, outperforming wooden or plastic beds. It lasts more than 20 years in severe marine environments and has a theoretical useful life of over 100 years in normal conditions.
  2. Superior Heat Reflection: Aluzinc Steel reflects more light, maintaining optimal and even soil temperatures compared to wooden, concrete, or dark plastic beds. This helps improve fruit set rate, blush color, and maturity.
  3. Incredibly High-Strength: Aluzinc's surface is twice as hard as regular galvanized steel and more than 5 times harder than wood or plastic, ensuring the beds hold soil for decades without deforming.
  4. No Soil Contamination: Aluzinc does not leach chemicals into plants or soil, providing a high-quality environment for organic gardening.
  5. 100% Green and Recyclable Material: Aluzinc Steel is environmentally friendly, 100% recyclable, and made using a "green process," contributing to sustainability.

Benehorti's Aluzinc Steel Raised Beds have a long history of use in gardening, especially popular in Australia. The 0.6 mm thick extra strength Aluzinc coated steel sheet used in Benehorti beds ensures durability and a lifespan 7 times longer than wooden or plastic beds.

Benehorti Raised Beds are designed with safety in mind, making them suitable for both children and the elderly. Unlike standard rectangular beds with sharp corners, Benehorti's raised beds feature a smooth and safe oval shape, eliminating any potential hazards. The top edges are rolled over, and the beds come with safety rubber strips for added security.

To ensure additional safety, Benehorti provides a soft trim called the safety edging cover. This durable material covers any exposed steel edges, further reducing potential safety risks. Installing the safety rubber edge is easy; after assembling your Benehorti raised bed, simply push the safety rubber edge onto the top edge for added protection.

With Benehorti Raised Beds, you can have peace of mind knowing that they offer a safe and secure gardening environment for everyone, including children and the elderly.

HYDROPONIC GROW SYSTEMS

Benehorti gardens offer a simple and enjoyable way to grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens, or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of Benehorti raised bed. Planting with Seed Pods is easy and hassle-free! Just insert the pre-seeded pods into your raised bed, add water, and the specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and beyond. Indoor gardening has never been easier or more delicious!

In your Benehorti pod, you have a versatile space to grow a variety of plants. Leafy salad greens and most herbs are perfect for the pod, and you can pack them densely for continuous harvesting. Plants like silverbeet, spinach, parsley, chard, and lettuce thrive in the pod.

Additionally, root vegetables will flourish in the full foot of soil provided by the pod. You can grow rooty veggies like carrots, radishes, and beets with ease.

For winter crops, brassicas such as cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, and kale are excellent choices for your pod.

While the pod is perfect for a wide range of plants, it's not suitable for shrubs and fruit trees.

Feel free to explore the countless examples on our social media pages to see what fellow Benehorti podders are growing in their pods.

Lastly, we recommend using the GardenAte website and app, a valuable Australian resource that provides planting advice based on your climate zone, helping you make the most of your gardening experience.

At Benehorti, different types of plants have consistent germination timeframes:

Flowers: 7-12 days

Salads: 5-8 days

Herbs: 5-15 days

Fruiting vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, peppers): 7-14 days

We are committed to ensuring a successful gardening experience for you. If any of your seed pods do not germinate within 21 days, please contact us, and we will promptly send you a replacement under our 100% germination guarantee.

Rest assured that with Benehorti, you can enjoy a reliable and rewarding gardening journey with seeds that germinate efficiently and grow into healthy plants.

Plant lifespans are similar to growing plants in any other environment. The duration of a plant's life depends on factors such as the plant type, care, and harvesting.

Here are the typical lifespans for different plant varieties in a Benehorti raised bed:

Flowers: 4-5 months, but they can last longer with proper care.

Lettuces & Greens: About 4 months.

Herbs: 3-4 months, but some herbs like basil can last even longer, especially with regular pruning and harvesting.

Fruiting vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, peppers): Usually around 12 months. With proper care, they can continue growing beyond that.

Remember that providing consistent care, tending, and harvesting will impact the longevity of your plants. Enjoy the journey of nurturing your plants with Benehorti and watch them flourish throughout their life cycles.

In a Benehorti hydroponics system, we do not recommend reusing the sponges as their effectiveness may decrease with each use. Additionally, using sponges from previous plants could introduce harmful bacteria and potentially lead to disease.

However, you can reuse the white baskets and blackout covers after thorough cleaning. To support environmental sustainability, we offer cost-effective sponge refill packs at a discounted price on our official website, www.benehorti.com, or at the store where you purchased your hydroponics system. This way, you can ensure the best results for your plants while being environmentally conscious.

The water pump generally does not require regular cleaning. However, we recommend cleaning the pump and its filter sponge after at least six months of use. Here's how you can clean the water pump:

Turn off the power and unplug the power cord.

Open the pump cover by pressing the latch on the side of the water pump.

Take out the sponge in front of the water pump and rinse it with clean water. Avoid using detergents to maintain the nutrient balance. If the sponge is heavily soiled, consider rinsing the entire water pump by soaking it in clean water and gently shaking to remove debris.

Reassemble the components and restart the machine.

If you need instructions for disassembling the water pump for deep cleaning, please contact us, and we will provide you with a cleaning guide.

For cleaning the interior of the water tank, use a soft, damp cloth or wet wipes to wipe away any dirt or debris. Turn off the power, unplug the cord, and remove the light board and extendable rod. Rinse the water tank with clean water, avoiding the use of detergents as they may affect plant growth. During cleaning, ensure that the light board, extendable rod, and power port stay dry to avoid circuit damage. Also, prevent direct contact between the hydroponics system's screen (MAX/PRO) and water.
